Caring Kitchen – Delray Beach Cason United Methodist Church 342 N Swinton Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33444 Homebound Meal Delivery Driver - Volunteers are needed to deliver meals in their own vehilcles to our homebound clients in Delray Beach. Volunteer must complete a Level 2 background check. Days needed: Mondays and/or Wednesdays. Hours needed 9:30 am to 11:00 am. Cook - Volunteers are needed to cook meals on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. Must be comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment. Must be able to lift 10 lbs.or more. Van Driver - Volunteers are needed to pick up food donations at various locations in Delray Beach using the Caring Kitchen van. Assist with weighing and sorting food donations, dropping off recyclables, and delivering items to the CROS Office in Lake Worth as needed. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Time frame is 8:30 am to 11:00 am and days needed are Mondays and Fridays. Valid driver's license required. Facility Maintenance/Dishwasher - Volunteers are needed during the week for cleaning/facility maintenance/washing dishes Hours: 9:00 am to 11:30 am and/or 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm. With limited staff, we utilize the talents of more than 3,500 volunteers to operate our programs. Using volunteers keeps our costs down which allows us to be open numerous days/week. All services are provided free of charge without regard to race, religion, national origin, marital status, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
