Spirit of Giving is currently collecting new and gently worn sneakers for the 2020 Back to School Bash.
We are also in need of deodorant, feminine hygiene products and new school supplies.
For the event, we need cases of water for volunteers.
We have an immediate need for infant formula. Our clients have had issues locating formula on store shelves. We are also in need of Computers that we can lend out to our clients that do not have access so that we can continue working with them.
Bins will be available outside for you to place your donations. Items must be pre-boxed/bagged by like item and in clean/working condition. Be sure to check out our most current list of items we are accepting/not accepting so we do not have to turn anything away at the door.
If you have heat-sensitive items, please package separately so we may bring these items inside. There will be a bin labeled for these item donations.

As an essential service provider, our 24-hour domestic violence crisis line and emergency shelter will remain operational to meet the increased need. We are putting protective measures in places such as creating quarantine procedures and isolation spaces within the shelter to be used in the event of illness and creating contingency plans for everything from staffing to food supplies. It’s an uncertain time, but please know we are doing our very best to continue our unduplicated services.

At this time, for the safety of our staff, we are only accepting donations from the above-approved needs list. Please call us at 561.640.0050 before dropping off donations to ensure the staff is prepared. At the present time, all YWCA buildings are closed to visitors and non-essential personnel. We will not be accepting any donations of used items, including clothing, toys, or home goods at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
AVDA is in need of catered lunch and dinner for 75 adults and children to avoid cooking in communal spaces for social distancing, nonperishable snack food in individual serving sizes, hand sanitizer, masks (surgical are ok), and cans of lysol spray, diapers size 4‐6, pullups, and baby wipes.
Hi we need help in a lot of areas. The first priority is training on how to do virtual fundraising. We are not sure how we would even begin. On that not we need help fundraisig. We are also looking for someone who knows how to write grant proposal and to help us with how to write them. We are looking for a new computer that is windows or laptop, office supplies, items with our logo on them, and we are also looking for sponsors.
Our most pressing and immediate needs are medical supplies and technology to work remotely. The increased and unexpected costs of medical supplies to keep our residential clients and the direct care staff that work with them safe is crippling. In addition, all non essential staff are working remotely and some do not have the technology they need. We appreciate any and all help we receive.
Hello, Our immediate needs would be in the area of computers and work remote technology. We need 3 computers with the ability to handle high speed video communication. We also are in need of funds to compensate our two choir directors (instructors) and 1 theater teacher. Technology upgrades such as Adobe Suite for the computers is also essential in this time in which video/teleconferencing is going to be the main way of providing services to our students and their families.
We serve children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Our adult group homes need medical and cleaning supplies, including recommended PPE. To help us continue essential services, we need: Food Pantry items for families in need; games, activities, and supplies for at‐home services; access to technology for families who are otherwise unable to communicate with us or participate in at‐home services; and home office needs for our team members.

Our population is abused and neglected children 1700+. We have specific needs for food & diapers. We can support best by monetary donations or gift cards (Walmart, Amazon, local grocery stores). These allow us to have the merchandise shipped directly to the home or if able safely shop.
