COVID-19 Impact

Community Health Center of WPB, we provided Free non-emergency medical and vision care to the uninsured and underinsured living in Palm Beach County. Here at CHC we are continuing to see patients through the pandemic. Unfortunately the coronavirus has impacted the number of people we are able to serve within the in person model we have been in the past.

We need your financial support to implement a new Telehealth Clinic, which will allow patients to video conference with their physicians; send/receive images and view test results online; and track treatment without having to ever show up in-person at the health center. Imagine being a mom with three kids and no childcare, afraid to bring the babies along to a much-needed doctor’s appointment; or picture an older gentleman with a chronic condition like diabetes, who needs the doctor’s advice to manage his ongoing health issues, but doesn’t feel comfortable going anywhere out of fear of exposing himself further to COVID-19.
