Canceling all events until further notice.

As our entire state and nation navigate the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), YWCA is constantly monitoring the situation and staying in close contact with the Center for Disease Control, Health Department, and other partners. We value the safety and well-being of our entire community. Coronavirus is a respiratory illness. The virus can be spread person-to-person, similar to the flu and other respiratory illnesses. There is no specific antiviral treatment for the virus. Any infected person can seek medical treatment for symptom relief. There is also no vaccine to protect against it. Patients with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) have had mild to severe respiratory illness with the following symptoms: Fever, Cough, and Shortness of Breath. YWCA of Palm Beach County is committed to the safety, wellness, and health of our program participants, families, employees and the Greater Palm Beach County community. As a result of the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we are enacting the following changes of canceling all events until further notice. Check back here for updates. Please stay safe: No one is immune to COVID-19. Following public health guidelines about physical/social distancing is critical! The virus can be spread by anyone, even if you don’t have symptoms. Keeping a distance of at least 6 feet protects people who are most vulnerable. People at higher risk include those who: Are age 60 and older Have underlying health conditions including heart disease, lung disease, or diabetes Have weakened or compromised immune systems Are pregnant
