Tonight, we responded to a call from MyFWC Florida Fish and Wildlife regarding a juvenile green sea turtle that washed ashore in Manalapan, Florida with fresh wounds from a boat propeller. We were quick to respond and transported the injured sea turtle to Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, Inc. for further assessment and treatment.
We are on a roll this week with leatherback nest #3 documented this morning! This morning’s nest was documented in the Town of Ocean Ridge. Hope this trend continues!
